This plate is laid out in the classic hunter tartan plaid design. I did a small sample first and found that the design was to dark and hard to see, so I alternated with a stringer on clear between each color stringer. I think this overall brings the tartan to life. The plate was then slumped In a wavy edge form to lend the feel of cloth to the piece.
