Kraken

This is a subject that I waited a long time to do in glass, to have it read as the dark ominous kraken , I played around with the color of both the background and the kraken. The background I’d done in various blues but all cut to evoke the feeling of a maelstrom. The kraken is done in opaque glass , red, black and white the suckers on his tentacles are sharp not round to give the for boarding feel to the piece. As well as the convoluted twisting of the tentacles. With both background and subject so twisted and convoluted I think it comes across as I hoped.
