This is my newest “painting “ using a combination of enamel paint, frit and stringers of glass that I have heated and pulled in a flame. I have layered together the painting. Through several layers of enamel and frit that have been fired at each application I have built up the image. Enhancing and deepening the colors until I felt the image conveyed the color range I was striving for. Using a combination of purple and blues for the shading trying for a light airy finish, harkening to a spring morning. The painting is on a 12”x12” sheet of white glass with an overall finished framed dimension of 20”wide x21”tall. In a custom maple frame.
